Rowan used the big boy toilet today! He said "Poo poo" to mom today and she promptly put him bum on the toilet. Then he had his first big boy poop! Yay! I guess it's time to install the child potty training toilet seats we bought at the home show this year!

Yesterday my wifey got another year older, and with that, another year more beautiful.

Last night was kind of the first super-get together we've had at the new house. The total number of guest were about 55 people, including a bunch of cute kiddies. Rowan's room was a zoo, but it was fun to see all the kids having a blast.

It was both a housewarming and a birthday bash for Ritchie, Clara and Glenns, as they are all November babies. It was good times, with drinks, food music, and lots of chatter. The house also held up better than i thought it would, though as I'm writing this, I'm waiting for my floor steamer to warm up so that I can clean the hardwood.

The house right now looks like a hurricane went though it, so back to cleaning!

What ever happened to "Brown"? Why is everything that is even the slightest brown suddenly a "Chocolate Brown"? Walls are "Chocolate", furniture is "Chocolate", WTF?!

It's like putting an "i" in front of things to make it trendy. It's kind of annoying, and really, when did chocolate become a universal colour? Why isn't there "Kit-Kat Brown", or "Milk-Dud Brown", at least that would make more sense. I could at least say, "Oh yeah, that brown does look like a Aero bar.", instead of ,"Oh GAWD, another (hand gesture quotes) Chocolate brown".

Anyways, just another design rant.
