So the firming payment went through yesterday, so officially we are $10,000 poorer, but we now have a piece of dirt to call our own. Now the hard part, choosing an exterior colour scheme. Now the difficult thing about choosing a colour scheme in our area is that there are architectural guidelines that have to be followed. We can't have the same colour scheme as any of the nearby houses, and were have to choose from a pre-selected palette of colours. Also, being one of the last new residents to build in on the block limited the colours we could choose from. We initially chose a colour scheme on April 15th, when we handed in the firming payment, but over the week, Ritchie had a few doubts about our choices.
